1.Trigger:

This is a variable speed tool.

Squeeze the Trigger more to increase speed, less to reduce speed.

The light will illuminate when the trigger is pressed.

2.Direction Setting:

: (towards front of drill)

Press switch from the right side of the drill to make the drill turn clockwise, usually for tightening or driving screws.

: (away from front of drill) Press switch from the left side of the drill to make the drill turn counterclockwise, usually for loosening or removing screws.

3.Clutch Collar:

1- 11: These settings control the amount of torque at the bit to prevent stripping bolts and screws or splitting wood.

Settings range from 1 - lowest torque - to 11 - highest torque.

: This setting prevents the clutch from slipping. It is used when drilling holes.

4.Gear Switch:

1: low gear, higher torque

2: high gear, faster speed

CAUTION To prevent drill damage, do not adjust any setting halfway between options.

Example:

Do not use the Drill with the Clutch collar set between settings 11 and .
