1. SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

For your safety, this appliance complies with the applicable standards and regulations (Low Voltage Directives,

 

Electromagnetic Compatibility Environment,...).

 

CONDITIONS OF USE

Your vacuum cleaner is an electrical appliance : it must be used in accordance with the normal conditions of use.

Use and store the appliance out of the reach of children. Never leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.

Never hold the suction end of the tube near to the eyes or ears.

Never vacuum damp surfaces, with water or liquid of any nature, hot substances, ultra-fine substances (plaster, cement, ash...), large sharp matter (glass), noxious substances (solvents, paint strippers...), aggressive (acids, clea- ners...), inflammable or explosive (based on petrol or alcohol).

Never immerse the appliance in water, and do not throw water on the appliance and do not store it outside.

Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped, or shows visible deterioration or anomalies in function.

If this occurs, do not open the appliance, but send it to the nearest Approved Service Centre, or contact Tefal Consumer Services (see the contact details on the last page).

ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY

Check that the voltage used by your vacuum cleaner corresponds to that of your electrical supply : you will find this information on the bottom of your appliance.

Unplug the appliance by removing the plug from the socket :

-immediately after use,

-before each change of accessories,

-before each cleaning maintenance or change of filter.

• Do not use the appliance :

-if the cable is damaged. To avoid any danger, the winder and the cable of your vacuum cleaner must be replaced by an approved Tefal Service Centre.

REPAIRS

Repairs must be carried out by specialists with original spare parts.

Improperly carried out repairs can cause serious danger to users.
