7.Press outward on the release latch located on the front panel just above the cable connection on the hard drive (1), then slide the carrier toward the center of the chassis and pull the carrier straight back from the front panel to remove it (2).

8.Press the retention arm on the rear of the carrier outward (1), then slide the drive forward and lift it out of the carrier (2).
