4.If you are prompted for a Network Key (WEP), enter the security settings for your network and tap Connect.

Manually Connecting to a Wireless Network

Networks you have already configured are known as preferred networks and are listed under Wireless Networks. If Wi-Fi is turned on, tap the Settings button and your preferred networks appear in the list. You can choose whether to connect only to preferred networks or to have your HP iPAQ connect to any available network whether it is preferred or not.

To set up a wireless network connection:

1.To turn on Wi-Fi from the Launch page or traditional Today

screen, tap the Wireless icon ( ), and then tap the Wi-Fibutton.

2.From the iPAQ Wireless screen, tap the Settings button. The Configure Wireless Networks screen displays.

3.Review the list of networks, then tap your network name if it is present. (If one or more networks are present, the Network indicator icon ( ) appears in the Navigation bar.)
