13.3-in, LED, BrightView SVA display panel

Before removing the display panel, follow these steps:

1.Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

2.Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

3.Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the display panel:

1.Turn the computer right-side up, with the rear toward you.

2.Open the computer.

3.Remove the base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 29).

4.Remove the 2 Phillips PM 5.0 millimeter screws on the left and right hinges (1).

5.Remove the Phillips PM 3.0 millimeter screw on the left hinge (2).

6.Rotate both hinges to the open position (3).

NOTE: Support the display panel as you are removing the screws.
