2.Remove the PC Card by following these steps:

a.To release the PC Card eject button, press the button once 1. To eject the PC Card, press the button a second time.

b.Gently grasp the card and pull it out 2.

Conserving Energy

When PC Cards are installed in your computer, they draw power from the system even when they are not in use. To conserve power:

■Windows 98 or Windows Me—Select the command to stop PC Cards or remove PC Cards when they are not in use.

■Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000—Remove PC Cards when they are not being used.
