HP ProLiant BL e-Class Integrated Administrator ver. 1.40 Features

Out-of-band local console and remote network access to the server blade enclosure and all 20 server blades via (one) RJ-45 10/100T Fast Ethernet and (one) RS-232 management connectors

Provides local and remote access to the ProLiant BL e-Class C-GbE Interconnect Switch command console and browser-based management interfaces

SNMP, Web (via HTTPS) and command-line interfaces (via Console connector, Telnet and Secure Shell) Remotely power on/off/reboot server blades and enclosures

Remotely toggle on/off unit identification LEDs (UID) of server blades and enclosures

Monitors and controls the enclosure fans, temperature sensors, power supplies, interconnect switch and server blade status

Connect to each server blade's serial text console for enabling full control over server blade's Power-On Self Test (POST) and boot process, including the ROM-Based Setup Utility (RBSU).

NOTE: For ProLiant BL10e G2 server blades running Windows® 2000 Server, there is now available a Serial Console for Windows utility that provides serial-based administrative functionality using the Integrated Administrator remote console feature. CAUTION: The enclosure link (RJ-45) connectors on the interconnect tray are not to be used. Connecting an external device to these enclosure link (RJ-45) connecters may damage your external device.
