Power connector 1 light

On: The docking station is on.

Connects the docking station to a Smart AC

 

 

adapter.

Power connector 2 light

On: The docking station is on.

Connects the docking station to a standard AC

 

 

adapter.

USB ports (4)

Connect optional USB devices.

 

 

Power is always on to all USB ports when the

 

 

docking station is connected to AC power.

 

 

NOTE: There are 2 additional USB ports on the

 

 

right panel of the docking station.

RJ-45 (network) jack

Connects an Ethernet network cable.

External monitor port

Connects an optional external VGA monitor or

 

 

projector.

S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface)

Connects an optional compatible audio/video

 

digital audio jack

receiver through a digital coaxial cable (purchased

 

 

separately).

Hard drive power connector

Connects an optional HP Personal Media Drive to

 

 

additional external AC power, if desired.
