Red-eye Correction

The Red-eye Correction function is used to reduce red eye in captured photos. This function is only available for photos. Red-eye correction can be applied to a photo several times, but the quality may gradually deteriorate.

To activate Red-eye Correction:

1.Press the Playback button on the camera.

2.Press Left/Right key on the navigation control to scroll and select a photo.

3.Press the MENU button to launch the Playback menu.

4.Select Red-eye Correction.

5.Select Start.

6.Press the OK button to start correction.

7.After completing Red-eyecorrection, a menu selection appears. Select whether to:

Overwrite. Save and replace old file with a new one.

Save As. Save the new file as a new one.

Cancel. Cancel red-eyecorrection.

8.Press the OK button to save/cancel changes.
