Removing a Drive from the Drive Bay

1.Shut down the operating system properly, then power off the computer, disconnect the power cord from the power outlet, and remove the computer cover.

2.Remove the front bezel.

3.Disconnect the drive power and signal cables and, if it is a CD- ROM or DVD-ROM drive, disconnect the audio connector.

4.If removing a hard drive, lift up on the power switch bracket, then rotate down to gain access to the drive bay.

5.Press the drivelock mechanism to unlock the drive in the drive bay.

6.While pressing the drivelock 1, pull the drive out of the drive bay 2.
