Using the grill

oTo turn the grill on press and turn the control dial to the large flame position.

oWhile still holding in the control knob, press and hold the bottom half of the ignition button until the grill burner ignites.

oFor a high heat temperature, leave the control on the large flame symbol. To set a lower heat level, turn the control dial to the small flame position.

oYou can turn the light on any time by pressing the bottom half of the ignition button. Press this button again to turn the light off.

oThe grill has a flame failure safety device. This ensures that no gas escapes if the flames are extinguished. There is also a thermal cut-off which prevents the grill from overheating if the temperature exceeds safety limits.

oThis appliance is supplied with a built-in grill deflector.

oAlways remember to use the handle when removing the grill pan and do not leave the grill unattended while in use. The handle should not be left attached to the grill pan whilst in the oven.

oIMPORTANT: You should always grill with the oven door open. NEVER attempt the grill with the door closed.
