SATA Operation Mode
Use this item to adjust SATA Operation Mode. The default value of this option is [IDE]. Configuration options: [IDE], [AHCI] and [Disabled]. Please noted that AHCI mode is not supported under Windows® XP / XP
AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) supports NCQ and other new features that will improve SATA disk performance but IDE mode does not have these advantages.
