IF FILTERS ARE ENCLOSED IN PLASTIC BAGS PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE BAGS ARE REMOVED PRIOR TO OPERATION.

Operating INSTRUCTIONS

1.Carefully unpack your Air Purifier. Select a firm level place where there are no obstructions to the air inlet or filtered air outlet. A good location in a room is approximately 1 foot away from the wall, in a central location of your home.

DO NOT POINT AIR OUTLET TOWARDS WALL.

2.Plug into a 120V AC electrical outlet.

3.Press the power button ( ). The unit will turn onto high and the power light will illuminate letting you know the power is on.

4.You can then select the desired speed setting. This air purifier has three

speed settings. You can select from HIGH ( ), MEDIUM ( ), or LOW ( ) by pushing the desired operating speed button on the control panel.

5.To release negative ions into the filtered air, press the ionizer button

( ) to ON and the light will illuminate.

6.For optimum air filtration, it is recommended to operate the air purifier continuously. Its rugged motor has been designed to give many years of use.

For continuous use, it’s recommended to operate the air purifier at the MEDIUM setting. For quieter operation or use in a bedroom, select the LOW setting. When high levels of air pollution are present, select the HIGH setting to quickly circulate and filter the room air.

Oscillation

The air purifier model is equipped with oscillation. To start and stop oscillation of the air purifier, push the button identified

as Oscillation ( ) on the control panel.

CLEANING/MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning.

1.The outside of the air purifier can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.

2.The rear air inlet grill can be removed and washed in warm soapy water (not dishwasher safe). Dry completely before replacing in the unit.

3.The front air outlet grill can be cleaned of dust with a small soft brush or cloth.

Antes de limpiar la unidad, apáguela y desenchúfela del tomacorriente.

1.El exterior del purificador de aire puede limpiarse con un paño suave húmedo.

2.La rejilla posterior puede sacarse y lavarse con agua tibia jabonosa (no es segura para el lavavajillas). Séquela completamente antes de reinstalarla en la unidad.

3.El polvo de la rejilla de salida de aire puede limpiarse con una escobilla blanda pequeña.

ADVERTENCIA: No permita que la humedad entre en contacto con el casco principal del purificador de aire.

INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA PARA LOS FILTROS PERMAtech™

1.ndicador de servicio al filtro ( ) : El purificador de aire tiene una luz que se enciende para indicar que los filtros PERMAtech™ necesitan limpiarse.

2.Revise las condiciones de los filtros cada dos semanas.

3.Apague la unidad y desenchúfela. Saque la rejilla agarrándola con los dedos por las pestañas a ambos lados y tire hacia usted.

4.Saque el prefiltro de espuma y examínelo. Si se ve una acumulación de polvo o pelusa, saque el prefiltro de la rejilla, lávelo con agua jabonosa, enjuáguelo y séquelo completamente por al aire antes de volverlo a instalar en la rejilla.

5.Antes de reinstalar la rejilla posterior, inspeccione la condición de los filtros PERMAtechTM, si estuviesen sucios, sáquelos agarrándolos de ambos lados y tirando hacia afuera.

6.Para limpiar los filtros PERMAtech™, use el accesorio para rendijas o una escobilla de la aspiradora pasándolo por el lado de la salida del filtro y tratando de limpiar entre los pliegues (Figura 1).

7.Este modelo tiene pestañas colgadoras y clips para asegurar el filtro en el lugar correcto. Antes de reinstalar el filtro PERMAtech™, cerciórese que la pestaña colgadora esté segura en posición. El clip sólo puede instalarse en el filtro en una posición y debe poderse deslizar en la pestaña colgadora del filtro con una pequeña presión. NO use fuerza para instalar el clip en el filtro. (Figura 2).

8.Alinee el clip en la parte superior del filtro PERMAtech™ con los rieles dentro del purificador de aire y deslice el filtro suavemente en el riel (Figura 3).

9.Reinstale la rejilla firmemente en la entrada de aire de la unidad.
