Después de un uso prolongado se podrá notar una acumulación de polvo alrededor de las rejillas o del panel frontal. Esto resulta del proceso de ionización causado por iones negativos existentes en la salida de aire y es evidencia adicional de la efectividad limpiadora de los iones negativos. El polvo puede limpiarse con un paño humedecido o una escobilla blanda.

NOTA: Es importante cambiar el filtro PERMAtech™ con la periodicidad recomendada. El uso del ionizador con los filtros sucios puede hacer que las partículas de suciedad existentes en el purificador de aire se adhieran a las paredes, alfombras u otro mobiliario y podrían ser muy difíciles de limpiar.

INSTRUCCIONES de Operación

1.Desempaque el purificador de aire cuidadosamente. Para su ubicación seleccione una superficie firme y nivelada sin obstrucciones para la entrada de aire ni para la salida de aire filtrado. Una buena ubicación en la habitación suele ser a unos 30 cm (1’) de una pared, sobre una mesa o escritorio en un lugar central de la casa.

NO APUNTE LA REJILLA DE SALIDA DE AIRE HACIA LA PARED.

2.Enchufe a un tomacorriente de CA de 120V.

3.Encienda la unidad presionando el botón ( ). La unidad arrancará a funcionar en velocidad alta y una luz indicará que la unidad está encendida.

4.Puede graduar a la velocidad deseada:

Alta/High (), Media/Medium ( ) o Baja/Low ( ) presionando el botón correspondiente en el panel de control.

5.Para soltar los iones negativos al aire filtrado, presione el botón ionizador y una luz indicadora ( ) se encenderá.

6.Para un filtrado óptimo de aire, se recomienda operar el purificador de aire constantemente. Su motor fuerte está diseñado para muchos años de uso.

Para un uso constante recomendamos operar el purificador de aire en velocidad MEDIA (MEDIUM). Para una operación más silenciosa o en un dormitorio, opérelo en velocidad BAJA (LOW). Cuando el nivel de contaminación del aire en la habitación sea alto, seleccione la velocidad ALTA/HIGH para recirculación y filtrarlo rápido.

Oscilación

WARNING: Do not allow moisture to come in contact with the main housing of the air purifier.

PERMAtech™ FILTER CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

1.Filter Service Indicator ( ) – Your air purifier has an indicator light that illuminates when it is time to clean the PERMAtech™ filters.

2.Every few weeks, check the condition of the filters.

3.Turn off and unplug unit. Remove the air inlet grill by pulling the air inlet grill towards you by grasping the finger tabs on both sides.

4.Remove and examine the foam pre- filter. If it has collected a noticeable amount of dust or lint, remove it from the inlet of the grill and wash it in warm soapy water. Rinse and drip dry the pre-filter thoroughly before replacing it into the inlet of the grill.

5.With the rear grill removed, check the condition of your PERMAtech™ filters. If the filters are dirty, remove them by gripping on both sides and pulling forward.

6.To clean the PERMAtech™ filter use a crevice tool or brush attachment with your vacuum cleaner. Run the attachment along the inlet and outlet side of the filter trying to clean between the pleated filter layers. (Figure 1).

DO NOT USE WATER OR ANY OTHER HOUSEHOLD CLEANERS OR DETERGENTS TO CLEAN THE PERMATECH™ FILTER.

7.This model utilizes a hang tab and filter clips to insure that the filter is properly in place. Before replacing the PERMAtech™ filter make sure the hang tab is securely in place. The clip

can only be attached to the tabs on the filter one way. The filter clip should easily slide onto the filter hang tab with only a small amount of pressure. DO NOT use force while attaching the clip to the filter. (Figure 2).

8.Align the clip on the top of the PERMAtech™ filter with the rails on the inside of the purifier unit. Gently slide the filter onto the rail (Figure 3).

NOTE: The side with the soft gasket should face inward.

9.Replace air inlet grill back onto unit securely.

10.The filter service indicator must be reset once the PERMAtech™ filters have been cleaned. Reset indicator by

pressing the power button ( ) on the control panel for 2 seconds.

Filter Life – The filter has been designed to never need replacement, however, it does need servicing. We recommend that under normal conditions of continuous use, the filters should be cleaned at least every 3 months to help maintain optimal performance.
