18.To prevent a possible fire or heat damage, allow ample space around the heater (at least1.7m at front and 0.5m at the rear, top and sides) and do not totally or partially block air inlets or outlets in any manner. Check the openings from time to time for accumulated dust. Ensure long shag carpet does not obstruct airflow under the unit.

19.Do not touch hot metal surfaces. The front grill will become very hot under normal use.

20.Never attempt to operate the heater in a vertical position. This heater is designed to operate in a horizontal position with no obstructions to the air inlets and outlets.

21.Switch off at the control switch and power outlet, then unplug and allow heater to cool down before cleaning or storing.

22.Use this heater only as described in this instruction manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, heat damage, electric shock or injury and voids all warranties.

23.Regularly inspect the supply cord, plug, control settings, air inlets and outlets and main housing for any damage. If found damaged in any way, immediately cease use of the heater and return to Kambrook or an authorized service agent for inspection.

24.The installation of a residual current device (safety switch) is recommended to provide additional safety protection when using electrical appliances. It is advisable that a safety switch with a rated residual

operating current not exceeding 30mA be installed in the electrical circuit. See your electrician for professional advice.

1.Remove your heater from its carton and associated protective wrapping, unwind the cord to its full length and remove any protective cardboard or foam that may have been used to minimise transportation damage.

2.Place the heater on a firm, level surface in a stable horizontal position.

3.Visually inspect the air inlet and outlets to ensure no foreign material is blocking these areas.

4.Make certain the selector knob is turned to OFF “O” and the temperature knob to HIGH (KFH330 only).

5.Plug the power cord in a 230-240Volt power outlet.To avoid an electrical circuit overload, it is recommended that no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit with your heater when you switch the unit on.

6.Control the heater with the selector knob and temperature knob, as follows:

The selector knob has 4 settings:

O Shuts off both heater and fan

*Turns fan on and gives cool air

1Gives warm air with half heating power

2Gives hot air with maximum heating power
