Using the Gear 360

Tap MODE Video.

Point the camera at a subject and tap to record a video.

While recording, the camera status light will flash red.

Tap to pause the recording. Tap to restart the recording.

Tap to finish recording the video.

The video will be saved in the Gear 360’s memory card.

The available video recording time will be displayed on the camera status screen.

Changing preview mode

In dual lens mode, you can preview images that will be taken with the front and rear cameras in different forms by changing preview mode.

On the viewfinder, tap to change preview mode.

360° view: Display the preview image spherically.

Round view: Display the preview image as an inverted panorama.

Stretched view: Display the preview image with a stretched view.

Dual view: Split the preview image to display each of the front and rear cameras’ screens.

Panoramic view: Display the preview image with a wide view.

In the 360° view, Round view, and Stretched view modes, you can view images from different angles by dragging your finger across the screen in any direction. To reset the angle to the default setting, tap Reset view.
