SINGING ALONG

Once you load a tape, follow these steps to sing along using your kids' Karaoke Music Machine.

If you connect an external microphone, the system's controls (such as VOLUME) affect it in the same way as the built-in micro- phone.

1.Rotate OFF/VOLUME toward MAX until it clicks to turn on the karaoke machine.

2.Press PLAY. The tape begins to play and you can start singing along.

3.While singing into the microphone, rotate ECHO and adjust OFF/VOLUME to the desired level.

4.To adjust the balance between your voice and the music, rotate BALANCE. Reduce the volume level if you hear feed- back.

Or, if you are playing a special karaoke sing-along tape, you can reduce the volume of the recorded singer's voice by adjusting MUSIC/VOICE. Rotate MUSIC/VOICE to MUSIC to hear only the music without the singer’s voice, or rotate it to VOICE to hear the singer without the music.

Note: This feature does not work with regular cassette tapes.

5.To stop the tape, press STOP/EJECT. Then lift the compart- ment cover and remove the tape.
