Thank you for purchasing your 50W RMS/100W Max. Powerhorn from RadioShack. Please read this user’s guide before installing, setting up, and using your new powerhorn.

Wing Nut

Mounting Base

Remove the powerhorn’s mounting base and use as a template.

1.Loosen the wing nut and slide off the base.

2.Attach the base to the mounting location and fix with three screws (appropriate to surface) and nuts (screws and nuts not supplied).

3.Place the powerhorn back onto its base.

4.Adjust the powerhorn to the desired angle, then secure the speaker in place with the wing nut.

Caution:

Set the powerhorn speaker slightly downward to prevent water collecting inside.

Mount the powerhorn away from heat sources.

Connecting

Your powerhorn is designed for connection to an amplifier with an impedance of 8 ohm.

1.Connect the powerhorn’s black wire to the amplifier’s negative (–) speaker terminal.

2.Connect the powerhorn’s white wire to the amplifier’s positive (+) speaker terminal.
