Df: The distance from Front Speaker

Dc: The distance from Centre Speaker

Dr: The distance from Rear Speaker

Setting the Centre Speaker

If the distance of Dc is equal to or longer than the distance of Df in the ﬁgure, set the mode as 0ms. Otherwise, change the setting according to the table.

Use the Test Tone feature to check the speaker connections.

•Press the ◄► buttons to select On.

•The test tone will be sent to Front Left ➞ Center

➞ Front Right ➞ Rear Right ➞ Rear Left ➞ Subwoofer in order.

To stop the test tone, press the ENTER button.

ASC (Auto Sound Calibration) Setting

By setting the Auto Sound Calibration(ASC) function just once when you relocate or install the product, you can have the product automatically recognize the distance between speakers, levels between channels, and frequency characteristics to create a 5.1-channel sound ﬁeld optimized for your environment.

Setting the Rear Speaker

If the distance of Dc is equal to or longer than the

distance of Dr in the ﬁgure, set the mode as 0ms.AUX IN 1/

Otherwise, change the setting according to the table.

✎NOTE

With PL II (Dolby Pro Logic II), the delay time may be different for each mode.

With AC-3 and DTS, the delay time can be set between 00 and 15mSEC.

The Centre channel is only adjustable on 5.1 channel discs.
