TURNING THE HomePADTM OFF
Power Off Mode: This is the standard way to turn off the system. Unsaved data will be lost and all windows will be closed when the power is shut down. Before turning off, you must save. In Power
Off Mode, the power LED lamp will blink. Press the power button to restart the system. It should start within 10 seconds
AUTO UPGRADE PROCESS
1.When a new version of the HomePADTM system application program is launched, will be alerted.
2.You can start the upgrade process now or postpone it next time.(HomePADTM alerts you every- day until you accept)
3.When the upgrade is accepted,
the auto upgrade system down- loads the new software from the upgrade server and installs it.
4.After completing the installation, you can finish the upgrade process.

BATTERY MANAGEMENT
How to use the HomePADTM battery effi- ciently.
• The amount of battery power remaining will
be displayed with an icon( )in the upper part of the screen
*Full(four battery bars): You can use HomePADTM for about 1 hour on main menu. *High(three battery bars): about 40 minutes on main menu.
*Low(two battery bars): about 20 minutes on main menu.
*Critical(one battery bar): about 10 minutes on main menu. A warning message will appear at three minute intervals.
*Very low(no battery bars): The HomePADTM power will turns off within 10 minutes.
Save your data and recharge a battery on AC adapter or refrigerator cabinet.
•The following warning message will appear at one minute in this state.
" If the battery power is insufficient. Please save your data and recharge the battery immediately"
•If the battery supply is insufficient, you should return it to the retail center or cus- tomer service center.
The battery is an expendable resource. If NOTE you repeatedly recharge and discharge it,
the lifetime of the battery will be shortened. If the battery life is too short to use, you have to change with a new one.
