In Multimedia mode, you can listen to MP3s, play videos, or view text ﬁles. Before using Multimedia mode, you should transfer ﬁles to your camera or memory card. (p. 24)

1 Plug the supplied earphones into the multifunction jack.

2 In Shooting mode, press [M].

3 Select Multimedia a mode.

4 Select a ﬁle to play.

t Files will be played automatically.

t Files will be listed by date they were saved.

t File names in unsupported languages will appear as “_ _ _ _

__ _.”

t If there are more than 100 ﬁles in the folder or several large ﬁles, it may take longer to access a mode.

t Power save mode will not be active during playback except when viewing text ﬁles with Auto Scroll or Back Music off.

t The camera will enter Power save mode when you perform no operations for 30 seconds in the Music mode.

t Depending on the properties of your ﬁles, ﬁle information may not be available in the playlist.

This mode allows you to play MP3 ﬁles.
