Starting the recording mode

How to use the Motion capture mode (

)

You can take 30 continuous images. (p.38)

 

This is suitable mode for taking fast moving objects in outdoor shooting. But, the image quality can be down.

1. Select the Motion capture mode by rotating the mode dial.

2. Point the camera towards the subject and compose the image by using the LCD monitor.

3. Press the shutter button to capture an image. While taking the images, the camera status lamp turns

on.

INFORMATION

In the Motion capture mode, the VGA (640X480) image size is fixed.

In the Motion capture mode, the shutter speed can be fixed according to the shooting conditions (For example; Indoors, or in dark or shaded places).

How to use the SCENE mode ( ) Use the menu to easily configure optimal settings for a variety of shooting situations.

1. Select the SCENE mode by rotating the mode dial.

2. Press the menu button and select a desired scene menu.
