RECORDING WITH EASE FOR BEGINNERS (SMART AUTO MODE)

With the SMART AUTO function, most of the camcorder settings are automatically adjusted. This function frees you from making detailed adjustments.

Select the Video ( ) or Photo () mode by pressing the MODE button. page 49

1.Press the SMART AUTO button.

() indicator is displayed. (when activating the SMART AUTO mode, Anti-shake ( DIS ) indicator also appears.)

2.Adjust the subject on the LCD screen.

The camcorder detects the subject and automatically selects a type of scene.

According to the detected type of scene, the corresponding icon will appear.
