Select a friend from the friends list, enter a message in the field at the bottom of the screen, and then tap

ChatON
Use this application to chat with any device. To use this application, you must sign in to your Samsung account.
Tap ChatON on the Applications screen.

Create a buddies list by entering phone numbers or Samsung account email addresses, or by selecting buddies from the list of suggestions. Alternatively, tap Contact sync to manually sync contacts from the device.
Tap Chats →Start chat and select a buddy to start chatting.
