Turning the Turntable On/Off

Turning the Vent Fan Hi/Low/Off

For best cooking results, leave the turntable on.

The vent fan removes steam and other vapors from surface cooking.

It can be turned off for large dishes.

Slide-Out Hood On/Off Button

 

This oven is equipped with an automatic ventilation hood feature that

 

allows for improved ventilation of vapors, steam and odors, especially from

 

the front burners of the cook top.

 

This feature comes factory pre-set in the "OFF" condition, and when acti-

 

vated by the User, this feature operates in conjunction with the ventilation

 

fan.

 

Press the Slide-Out Hood On/Off button to activate the sliding-out hood

 

feature. After activation, if the vent fan is set to "HIGH", the vent hood

 

extends outward. The slide-out vent hood remains extended in the "LOW"

 

setting, as well. Press the "Slide-Out Hood On/Off" button again to turn

 

the feature "OFF", and pressing repeatedly will turn the feature "ON" and

 

"OFF".

 

Do not place objects or pull on the retractable slide out hood

 

to avoid breakage of unit. Also, do not spill food or liquid on

 

slide hood. Spillage of liquid or food may result in electric

 

shock or oven malfunction.
