OIS Duo

Reduce camcorder shake and prevent blurred images with Optical and Digital Image Stabilization functions.

1Press the Home ( ) button p touch “Settings” p “Shooting”.

2Touch the desired item next to “OIS Duo”.

3To exit the menu, touch the Return ( ) tab.

Submenu items

OFF: Disables the function.

ON( ): The OIS Duo function is enabled to compensate for shaking.

Tele Macro

Using the Tele Macro function, you can get close up images which are created by focusing on a small portion of a large object at a tele angle. It is useful to get close up images of flowers or insects etc.

1Press the Home ( ) button p touch “Settings” p “Shooting”.

2Touch the desired item next to “Tele Macro”.

3To exit the menu, touch the Return ( ) tab.

Submenu items

OFF: Disables the function.

ON ( ): You can focus on a small portion of a large object at a tele angle.

• When recording in Tele Macro mode, the focus speed may be lowered.

• Use a tripod (not supplied) to prevent camcorder shake in the Tele Macro mode.

Avoid shadows when recording in the Tele Macro mode.

As the distance to the subject decreases, focusing area narrows.

When the distance between the camcorder and a subject is too close and the camcorder cannot be in the focus, rotate the Zoom dial towards W (wide-angle) a little bit and then adjust the focal distance between them.

When the Tele Macro is On and the camcorder magnifies a subject in tele mode, the minimum focal distance between the camcorder and a subject is 50cm.
