If you cannot obtain suitable exposure conditions, you can change the metering method to take brighter pictures. This can be set in Auto and Manual modes.

INFORMATION

The default metering mode is Multi pattern metering.

If the subject is not the centre of the focus area, do not use the spot metering as this may result in an exposure error. In this circumstance, rather use exposure compensation.

Effect

By using the camera’s digital processor, it is possible to add special effects to your images. You can select from AUTO, MANUAL, and Movie Clip modes. The value you set will remain unchanged until the camera is turned off.
