The filter may appear discolored, even after vacuuming. This is normal and does not affect performance in any way—a new filter is not necessary.

• Remove all plastic bags from filters.

 

NOTE: A hang tab and filter clips ensure the filter attaches properly.

1.Make sure the hang tab is securely in place. Align the clip on the top of the PERMAtech® filter with the rails on the inside of the unit. Gently slide the filter onto the rail (see Figures 3 and 4).

2.Place air inlet grill back onto unit securely.

3.After replacing the filters, RESET the Clean Filter Indicator ( ) by inserting a small object (such as a pin or paper clip) into the hole below the filter change light (see Figure 5). The light will turn off.
