Cleaning Air Filter (Gold Mesh Filter) on Your Air Conditioner
For the best use of your air conditioner, you must clean it every 2 weeks regularly to remove the dust that accumulates on the air filter.
CAUTION Before cleaning your air conditioner, ensure that you have switched off the breaker used for the unit.
1Open the front panel.
Push the lower left and right sides of the front panel to the left side first, and then take off the panel.
2Detach the air filter by pulling it forwards.
3Remove all dust on the air filter with a vacuum cleaner or brush.
If the air filter has been covered in a lot of dust, wash the air filter with mild detergent in clean water and dry it completely.
Make sure not to rub the air filter when washing.
4When you finished, insert the air filter again.
5Clean the front panel with a damp cloth and mild detergent. (do NOT use benzene, solvents or other chemicals.)
6Reassemble the air filter and the front panel.
Note If you have not used the air conditioner for a while, select the Fan mode for 3 to 4 hours to dry the inside of the air conditioner.
