Controlling suction power E & F
The Eco Switch ã allows you to turn down the power when cleaning more delicate items, such as curtains and upholstery, saving energy and reducing running costs. See table for guideline settings.
The suction power can also be adjusted using the fingertip air flow control on the hose handle.
Closed: | full suction |
Open: | low suction |
Thermostat protection
If the motor overheats, the cleaner will switch off automatically. If this occurs, press the on/off switch, disconnect from the mains supply and leave for 60 minutes to allow the motor to cool down.
The likely causes of the cleaner overheating are:
•The nozzle or tubes are blocked
•The dustbag is full.
•The motor protection filter à is very dirty
•The exhaust filter æ is very dirty.
Check and rectify the problem before attempting to reuse the cleaner.
IMPORTANT: Do not use your vacuum cleaner without the filters fitted.
