OPERATION
• Use the Power knob to turn the heater on to Low ( 
) (900W) or High ( 
) (1500W) (Fig. 3). The power light will illuminate.
This portable space heater includes an energy efficient setting which is the Low ( 
) setting. Because a lower heat setting does not require as much electricity to operate, it is more energy efficient and may be a better option if you are concerned about high power consumption.
•When the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the
Thermostat control 
until the heater goes off. This is the point at which the Thermostat setting equals the room temperature. At this setting, the Thermostat will automatically turn the heater on and off to maintain this selected temperature.
•Turn the Power knob to OFF and unplug the heater when you are finished using it.
NOTE: THIS PRODUCT IS EQUIPPED WITH A SAFEGUARD™ ALERT HEAT INDICATOR BADGE (FIG. 4). WHEN THE SAFEGUARD™ ALERT BADGE
LOCATED ON THE GRILL CHANGES FROM BLACK TO RED THE GRILL IS HOT TO THE TOUCH. DO NOT TOUCH THE GRILL UNTIL THE UNIT HAS BEEN TURNED OFF AND THE SAFEGUARD™ ALERT BADGE HAS TURNED
BACK TO BLACK.
