Notes:

These charts are for furnaces installed at 0 - 2000 feet. At higher altitudes, a properly derated unit will have the same temperature rise at a particular CFM, while the ESP at that CFM will be lower.

The installation must be adjusted to obtain a temperature rise within the range listed on the furnace nameplate.

Do not operate above .5” w.c. ESP in heating mode.

Propane gas installations will have a High Stage rise approximately 4° lower than shown in above table.

GMV95/GCV9, Multi-Position, Two-Stage/Variable-Speed Gas Furnace specifications

The Goodman Manufacturing Multi-Position, Two-Stage/Variable-Speed Gas Furnace (GMV95/GCV9) stands out as an advanced heating solution designed to deliver comfort and energy efficiency for residential spaces. Recognized for its reliability and impressive performance, this furnace is a popular choice among homeowners looking to enhance their indoor climate.

One of the key features of the GMV95/GCV9 is its two-stage heating capability. This dual-stage operation allows the furnace to run at a lower capacity for extended periods during mild weather, ensuring a more consistent temperature while minimizing energy consumption. When colder conditions are present, the furnace can efficiently ramp up to full capacity to provide the necessary warmth quickly. This adaptability results in lower utility bills while maintaining optimal comfort levels throughout the home.

Another critical characteristic of the GMV95/GCV9 is its variable-speed blower motor. The variable-speed technology allows for increased airflow control and quieter operation. This feature means that the furnace can adjust its fan speed based on the heating requirements, providing a consistent and comfortable temperature without the disruptive noise associated with traditional systems. The reduced sound levels make it particularly suitable for homes where quiet operation is a priority.

Safety features are paramount in the design of the GMV95/GCV9. The furnace is equipped with safety devices such as an integrated control board and a self-diagnostic system, allowing for real-time monitoring and quicker problem detection. Additionally, the furnace includes a durable heat exchanger built of stainless steel, ensuring longevity and efficiency while minimizing the risk of failure.

The GMV95/GCV9 is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing for multiple installation configurations, including upflow, downflow, and horizontal applications. This adaptability makes it an excellent option for various home layouts and renovation projects.

Finally, the Goodman's GMV95/GCV9 is incredibly energy-efficient, boasting an AFUE rating of up to 95%. This efficiency not only translates into savings on heating bills but also makes it an environmentally friendly choice, reducing greenhouse gas emissions compared to less efficient models.

In summary, the Goodman Manufacturing Multi-Position, Two-Stage/Variable-Speed Gas Furnace (GMV95/GCV9) combines advanced features, robust safety elements, and energy efficiency to meet the needs of modern homeowners. Its innovative technology and reliability make it a valuable investment in home heating comfort.
