The gas valve on the G60UH(X) is equipped with either a gas control knob or lever. Use only your hand to turn the gas control knob or push the gas lever. Never use tools. If the knob or lever will not move by hand, do not try to repair it. Call a qualified service technician. Force or attempted repair may result in a fire or explosion.

Placing the G60UH(X) furnace into operation: G60UH(X) units are equipped with a SureLightt ignition system. Do not attempt to manually light burners on these furnaces. Each time the thermostat calls for heat, the burn- ers will automatically light. The ignitor does not get hot when there is no call for heat on units with the SureLightt ignition system.

G60UH(X) specifications

Lennox International Inc. is known for its commitment to quality and innovation in the HVAC industry. One of its standout products is the G60UH(X) series of gas furnaces, designed to deliver exceptional heating performance while maintaining energy efficiency. The G60UH(X) incorporates a variety of features and technologies that set it apart in the marketplace.

One of the main attributes of the G60UH(X) is its variable-speed blower motor, which optimizes airflow to match the heating demands of the home. This feature enhances comfort by providing consistent temperatures and reducing temperature fluctuations. The system can operate quietly, ensuring a peaceful environment, while also using less energy compared to traditional single-speed motors.

Efficiency is a key focus of the G60UH(X), boasting an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) rating of up to 96%. This high rating indicates that the furnace converts a significant portion of the fuel it consumes into usable heat, leading to lower energy bills and reduced environmental impact. Moreover, with its ENERGY STAR certification, the G60UH(X) meets stringent energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Another highlight of the G60UH(X) is its advanced heating technologies. The unit is equipped with modulating gas valve technology that allows for precise control of the heating output. This ensures that the system can adjust its heating capacity based on the current conditions, contributing to improved comfort and efficiency. The integration of a multi-position design also provides flexibility in installation, allowing it to be adapted to various home configurations.

Durability is another characteristic of the G60UH(X). Constructed with high-quality materials, it is designed to withstand the rigors of seasonal changes, providing reliable performance for years. The unit is also designed for easy maintenance, which can save homeowners both time and money on service calls.

In addition to these features, the G60UH(X) can be easily integrated with smart home systems, enabling users to control their heating remotely and schedule operations according to their preferences. This connectivity not only enhances convenience but also allows homeowners to monitor energy usage.

In summary, the Lennox G60UH(X) series gas furnaces combines advanced technologies, high efficiency, and reliability. With features like variable-speed motors, a modulating gas valve, and an ENERGY STAR certification, it is an ideal choice for those seeking comfort and energy savings in their homes.
