Notes

e)RM7800L, E110/EP170 flame safeguard control monitors the oil or gas burner flame with digital readout control system, provides pre- purge and post-purge programming, provides switching necessary to allow firing rate motor to be driven to both low fire and high fire posi- tion, prevents start-up if pre-ignition interlocks are open and has low fire start proving circuit. In the event pre-ignition interlock circuit or running interlock circuit does not “prove”, system will lock out on safety. Ultraviolet sensitive electronic flame detector is standard with infrared detector available.

14.Airflow safety switch is standard for all gas and combination gas/light oil units.

15.Burners will be completely assembled and wired (except gas train) and factory test-fired.

16.Burners listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., state of Connecticut, Fire Marshal state of Massachusetts, city of NewYork MEA, and others.

17.Special controls can be provided to meet other code requirements not listed. Consult your localWeil-McLain distributor/agent or sales office.

18.Electric gas pilot is standard equipment on all gas and combination gas/light oil units and on oil units 1688R-1888.

Direct spark ignition is standard on light oil units 488R-1588. Direct spark ignition is optional on combination gas/ light oil units 488R-1588. Consult your localWeil-McLain distributor/agent or sales offices.

19.Available for Low NOx applications. Consult your localWeil-McLain distributor/agent or sales offices.

WJB2, WJB1 specifications

Weil-McLain, a leading manufacturer in the heating industry, offers a range of innovative products designed for efficiency and performance, with the WJB1 and WJB2 modulating condensing boilers standing out as prominent options for residential and commercial heating applications.

The WJB1 and WJB2 models are engineered for high efficiency, featuring advanced condensing technology that allows them to capture and utilize latent heat from exhaust gases. This maximizes thermal efficiency, making them an ideal choice for those looking to reduce energy consumption and lower utility bills. Both models boast an impressive AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) rating, reaching up to 95%. This means that a significant portion of the energy consumed is converted into usable heat, minimizing waste.

These boilers are built with durable materials designed to withstand the rigors of daily use. The heat exchanger, which is one of the critical components, is crafted from stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and contributing to the longevity of the unit. This construction not only enhances the boiler's lifespan but also supports consistent performance over time.

One notable feature of the WJB1 and WJB2 is their integrated control system. Equipped with user-friendly interfaces, these models allow for easy adjustment and monitoring, ensuring that users can optimize their heating requirements based on real-time demands. The modulating capabilities enable the boiler to adjust its output according to the specific heating needs, which results in enhanced comfort and reduced energy waste.

Additionally, the WJB1 and WJB2 models are designed with environmental considerations in mind. Their low NOx emissions help promote cleaner air quality, making them compliant with stringent environmental regulations. This commitment to sustainability is a key aspect of Weil-McLain's product design philosophy.

Another significant attribute is their versatility in installation. The compact design allows for various placement options, whether it’s in a basement, utility room, or garage. Moreover, these boilers can be easily integrated into existing heating systems, which is advantageous for retrofitting older buildings.

In summary, the Weil-McLain WJB1 and WJB2 modulating condensing boilers are characterized by their high efficiency, durable construction, advanced control technology, eco-friendliness, and installation flexibility. These features make them an excellent investment for homeowners and businesses aiming for reliable and efficient heating solutions.
