APPENDIX A - REFERENCE GUIDE

Configure menu

The Configure menu covers options available in specifying the contents of various fields. The menu consists of the following items:

Multiple Names View... allows the user to specify the fields to be dis- played in the ‘Multiple Names’ window (refer to page 3-17).

ID Card... allows the user to specify the fields to be displayed in the ‘ID Card’ window and printed on labels (refer to page 3-18).

Screen Line... allows the user to specify the files which will appear on screen lines in Delegate Database and throughout the DCN system (refer to page 3-20).

Apply

The ‘Apply’ menu causes delegate data to be downloaded to the DCN sys- tem, provided the necessary criteria are met.

All allows the user to download all the delegate data for a names file (refer to page 4-2).

AOne allows the user to download data for one delegate (refer to page 4-2).

Help menu

The Help menu manages the on-line help related to the whole DCN appli- cation. The menu consists of the following items:

Index provides the user with an alphabetical list of subjects covered by the help facility (refer to page 2-4).

Keyboard provides the user with information on which keyboard keys can be used with the Delegate Database software (refer to page 2-4).

Commands provides the user with information on all options contained in the file menu (refer to page 2-5).

Procedures provides the user with information on how to use the Dele- gate Database software (refer to page 2-5).

Glossary provides the user with an alphabetical list of terms used in the Delegate Database help facility (refer to page 2-5).

Using Help provides the user with information on how to use the Dele- gate Database help facility (refer to page 2-6).

About Delegate Database... displays the dialogue box with software release information (refer to page 2-7).
