Description

The loop powered sounder incorporates a detector base and is fi tted into a round, white plastic case. It is powered and actuated as a module through the ADM loop with System Sensor/200 protocol. Fire Detectors Series 200 can be fi tted into the integrated base.

The sounder can be activated by a Fire Detection Con- trol Panel Series BC216 with two different tone types, depending on the parameter setup. One of 32 different tone type combinations can be selected with a DIL- switch. The following tones are available, for example:

Continuous tone 660Hz,

Emergency signal according to DIN 33404,

Slow whoop tone according to NEN 2575,

Alternating tone 800/970Hz, and many more.

The sound level can be selected in 3 steps. The address of the sounder is selected with two decadic rotary swit- ches located at the bottom of the device.

The base sounder is designed for indoor surface moun- ting. For this purpose a special base is needed. Two different base types for protection classes IP24 or IP44 are available, depending on the application. An optional mounting plate can be supplied for surface mounted cabling.

The sounder is available in two different versions: With or without integrated dual-isolator module.
