Everest cylinder products manufactured by the Schlage Lock Company are offered for sale through specific channels of distribution.

Possession of this price book or any other Schlage price book does not constitute "the right to purchase" Everest products. Everest products are available in three levels of security; Open, Restricted and Primus®. See Primus Sales Policy for Everest Primus terms

and conditions.

Everest Open

Everest Open includes any non-Primus products with Everest C Family keyways or key sections. Schlage only sells Everest Open products to commercial security professionals. Security professionals purchasing Everest Open products from Schlage are permitted to stock products and to originate or duplicate keys without signature verification.

Everest Restricted

Everest Restricted includes any non-Primus products with Everest B Family or Everest D Family keyways or key sections. B234, B235 and B245 Keyways are classified as Everest Dealer Restricted keyways. All other Everest B Family and Everest D Family non-Primus products are classified as Everest End User Restricted keyways.

End User Keyways

Everest End User Restricted keyways may only be stocked at locations the end user pre-authorizes in writing as an allowable "ship-to" address. Everest Restricted keys may only be used within the facility designated by a six-digit End User ID number stamped on the key.

Dealer Keyways

Right to stock Everest Dealer Restricted keyways requires a written agreement with Schlage. All Dealer Restricted keys are marked with a six-digit Locksmith ID number

Purchasers of Everest Open and Everest Restricted are permitted to resell products in accordance with their distribution agreement to end users and to other commercial security dealers who have a professional locksmith on staff, but are expressly prohibited from reselling to:

i)Any other reseller whose residential lock and cylinder sales account for 70% of their total lock and cylinder sales;

ii)Any individual or entity purchasing or selling products through any method of auction;

iii)Anyone other than the end user who does not agree in writing to Schlage to adhere to Everest sales policies;

iv)Any contract hardware dealer or wholesale distributor not open as a direct Schlage account at the time of sale.
