USE OF THE UV-C AIR SANITIZER

When the UV-C Air Sanitizer is turned on you will see a ring of blue light that lets you know it is work- ing. The UV-C Air Sanitizer can process 450 cubic feet of air per hour and is effective in almost any size room. When using this product basic precautions should be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury.

GETTING STARTED

1Plug the UV-C Air Sanitizer/Hand Vac Storage Base into a 120v AC electrical outlet.

2Turn the power switch located underneath the base. A blue ring of light will appear indicating that the unit is on and working.

3For best results continuous operation is recommended.

4Place the hand vac in the base for storage and charging.

NOTE: The UV-C Air Sanitizer contains no serviceable parts except its UV-C bulb. The bulb may be removed for replacement.

Replacement Bulb LB1000

WHEN TO CHANGE THE BULB

A replaceable 3.5 watt UV-C light bulb will last over 5000 hours. Over time with use, the UV-C bulb will lose some intensity approximately 15% at 4000 hours. Therefore it is suggested to replace the UV-C light bulb every 8-10 months depending on use. You will know to change the bulb when the light flickers continuously or changes color. 1Turn off the unit and unplug it from the electrical outlet. (Fig. 1)

2Remove Hand Vac and using a small Phillips head screwdriver, loosen and remove the Phillips screw located inside of the charger base. (Fig. 2)

3Remove the top cap by lifting it off of the top of the unit. (Fig. 3)

4Hold the unit in place with one hand. Locate the bulb and reach into the cylinder with your opposite hand. Turn the bulb in a counter clockwise position (left) to loosen it from the socket. (Fig. 4)

5Take new bulb and screw into unit using a clockwise motion. (Fig. 5)

6Wipe off finger prints with a dry cloth after bulb is installed.

7Reassemble by reversing steps 1-6.

STORING & CHARGING

CHARGING

NOTE: Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.

IMPORTANT: Before first use, charge your vacuum for at least 24 hours.

Power switch must be in the off position when unit is charging on base. If charging light is not illuminated, press on/off button to assure unit is turned off. Remember, unit will not charge if charging light is not illuminated.

1Place unit in charger base when not in use.

2Connect wall charger to the outlet.

3Charging light will illuminate when unit is properly placed in the base. Unit will be charged in 16-24 hours.

4The light stays on and remains the same color even when the unit is fully charged.

STORING

Store the hand vac in the charging base on a flat surface when not in use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE OF THE HAND VAC

1Press the on/off button.

2Use cleaner to remove dust, debris and dirt from counters, floors, etc.

3Turn unit off before storing.

4Empty and clean dirt cup and filter after each use or when cup is full.
