•The security console is intended for use only with residential phone systems.

•You can program a maximum of 16 digits. This allows 10-digit dial- ing (area code plus number) which is now required in some metropolitan areas. For practical purposes, we do not recommend programming a long-distance number.

1.Set the switch on the bottom of the console to TONE or PULSE, based on the type of phone service you have.

2.Set INSTALL/RUN 1/RUN 2 on the console to INSTALL.

Notes:

•If you only want to program one phone number, just enter the same number in every memory location.

•If you store only one emer- gency number in all four mem- ory locations, there is a longer delay between each time the console calls the number back.

Repeat Steps 1–6 to change a phone number.
