A.They are rated at 35,000 BTUs per hour.

Q.Can the doors be installed on masonry fireplaces?

A.Yes. On either masonry fireplaces or the Country Flame

fireplace furnace, they increase burn times and provide much more heat than conventional doors.

Q.Can they be installed over rough stone facing?

A.Yes. Fill voids behind frame with insulation or cement.

Q.Will they hold a fire longer?

A.This airtight system offers the same type of control as

high-quality stoves and inserts. Many users report fires that burn overnight.

Q.How do I control the fire?

A.Use the rotary air control on the 400 series and the

concealed easy-touch air control on the 500 series for precise regulation.

Q.How long will the doors last?

A.Under normal use, the 1/4” plate steel frame and heavy

cast-iron doors should last a lifetime.

Q.Are there restrictions on the use of these doors?

A.Yes. They cannot be installed over zero-clearance fireplaces.
