BATTERY PACK RECHARGE
The battery pack should be charged for 24 hours before first use. Recharge the Battery Pack after each use. Recharge every 30 days if not in use.
The Battery Pack must be removed from the Canister Vac for recharging. The Battery Pack is then snapped onto the powered Battery Pack Charging Unit.
1.Make sure the AC/DC Adapter is connected to a 120 VAC outlet.
2.Plug the barrel connector into the barrel receptacle on the Battery Pack Recharge unit.
3.Release the Battery Pack from the canister by simultaneously pressing the two Battery Release Tabs.
4.Place the Battery Pack onto the Battery Pack Charging unit, making sure the battery locks (snaps) into position.
The red LED should indicate the charge is proceeding. When charging is complete, the green LED will light. Disconnect the battery when it is fully charged.
NOTE: It is normal for the AC/DC adapter to get warm while operating.
USING THE DC ADAPTER
The DC adapter is used when the vacuum is used in an RV, vehicle, or boat that has 12 volts DC available from an accessory outlet. The 9 foot cord allows freedom of movement. Powering the canister vac from a 12 volt accessory socket allows long run times without discharging the canister's battery.
The DC cord and the plug are all stored inside the
The DC adapter may be connected to the battery pack charging unit for storage. This will protect the contacts so no dust, dirt or moisture will collect on the contacts.
