Care and maintenance

Blueair air purifiers feature award-winning Swedish design, materials and workmanship. To keep your unit in top condition, we recommend routine cleaning.

Vacuum the air intake grille from the inside when you remove the filters to replace them.

Vacuum the small inlets with a soft brush attachment.

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, clean, damp cloth.

Never clean with gasoline, chemical solvents or corrosive material also as these agents may damage the surface.

Do not allow foreign objects to enter the ventilation or exhaust openings. This may cause electric shock or damage the unit.

Do not try to repair or adjust any of the electrical or mechanical functions on your Blueair unit yourself. Contact your local dealer or Blueair for warranty information.

How it works

The filters effectively capture larger airborne particles as the fan motor draws air into the unit. Air passes through an ion chamber where airborne particles are charged with negative ions. Charged particles are drawn to the HEPASilentTM filter surface. Purified air, which is virtually contaminant- free is re-circulated into the room.

600, 500 specifications

The Blueair 500 and 600 series air purifiers are renowned for their exceptional performance in improving indoor air quality. These innovative devices are designed to deliver cleaner air through a combination of advanced technologies and user-friendly features.

One of the standout features of the Blueair 500 and 600 series is the HEPASilent technology. This unique filtration system combines mechanical and electrostatic filtration, allowing the air purifiers to remove 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.1 microns. This includes common allergens such as dust, pollen, pet dander, and smoke, making it an excellent choice for allergy sufferers and those living in urban areas with high pollution levels.

In addition to HEPASilent, the Blueair 500 and 600 series are equipped with activated carbon filters. These filters are adept at removing odors and harmful gases, including volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from household products, making them ideal for kitchens and living spaces. The dual filtration system ensures that the air is not only free from particles but also fresh and pleasant to breathe.

The design of the Blueair 500 and 600 series is both functional and stylish. With a sleek, modern aesthetic, these air purifiers can easily blend into any home décor. They are available in various color options, allowing users to choose a unit that complements their interior design.

Ease of use is another hallmark of the Blueair 500 and 600 series. Smart sensors automatically detect air quality and adjust the fan speed accordingly. Users can also control the units through the intuitive interface, which includes a color-coded air quality indicator that provides real-time feedback on the air quality in the environment.

Moreover, these air purifiers operate quietly, ensuring minimal disruption, whether being used in a bedroom, office, or living room. Their energy-efficient design means they consume less power while still providing maximum purification efficiency.

Finally, the Blueair 500 and 600 series are designed with maintenance in mind. The filters are easy to replace, and the design allows for simple disassembly, ensuring that maintenance is a hassle-free process.

Overall, the Blueair 500 and 600 series air purifiers embody cutting-edge technology and thoughtful design, making them an excellent investment for anyone looking to enhance their indoor air quality.
