AIR Filters Installation

Your Whynter portable dehumidifer is equipped with a washable Pre-Filter and a Silver Ion Filter. The washable Pre-Filter removes large particles such as dust, pet hair and dander. The Silver Ion air filter which is designed to kills bacteria in the air and controls the growth of microbes, such as virus, fungi and spores. It is recommended you replace the Silver Ion Filter every two to three months or as needed. Follow the steps below to install the filters.

WARNING: NEVER OPERATE THE DEHUMIDIFIER WITHOUT THE PRE-FILTER

1. Pull up the pre-filter frame

2.Remove the Pre-Filter from the filter frame.

3.Place the Silver Ion Filter on the Pre-Filter.

4.Reattached the filter frame.

5.Insert the assembled filter frame into the unit.
