Press and slide out the battery cover by following the direction shown by the molded arrow on the surface of the cover.

Insert two AA batteries into the remote control. Match the (+) and (-) symbols on the batteries with the (+) and (-) symbols inside the battery compartment.

Press and slide the battery cover back into place.
