3. The Compur Ex plus in Operating Mode

The Compur Ex plus is available with a standard battery (NiMH, operation time 4 h at 20°C) or a longterm battery (NiCd, min. operation time 15 h at 20°C).

When leaving the factory, the batteries are fully charged.

3.1 Charging the Compur Ex plus

Both batteries (standard or longterm) can be charged in the same charging station. Charging stations are available with 1 or 4 slots.

?Switch off your Compur Ex plus when charging or charge the batteries se- perately.

?Do not charge your Compur Ex plus in hazardous areas.

?Compur Ex plus detectors may be charged only in charging stations from COMPUR Monitors.

?If your Compur Ex plus detector is not in use, store it in the charging station.

Charging the batteries:

??Make sure, the switch is in the OFF- position

??Connect the charging station to the mains adapter or the optional 12 V car adapter.

Do not charge the batteries in hazardous areas !
