P/M mode—seepage 19.

ISO speed—adjust the sensitivity to light. Higher ISO indicates greater sensitivity. NOTE: A higher ISO may produce unwanted “noise” in a picture.

Exposure Compensation—adjust the exposure. If the picture is too light, decrease the setting; if it’s too dark, increase the setting.

Shutter speed—control how long the shutter stays open.

Aperture—(also known as f-stop) control the size of the lens opening, which determines the depth of field.

Smaller f-stop numbers indicate a larger lens opening; good for portraits and low-light conditions.

Larger f-stop numbers indicate a smaller lens opening; keeps the main subject sharp; good for landscapes and well-lit conditions.

Focus mode—select a large or concentrated area of focus.

Another notable feature is the cameras' video recording capabilities. They can capture VGA quality video at 30 frames per second, making it easy to document special moments in motion. The EasyShare integration allows for simple sharing and transferring of photos to computers or compatible devices.

Both models are powered by AA batteries, ensuring widespread availability and convenience. The compact design of the Z1275 and Z1285 makes them highly portable, making it easy for users to carry them on their adventures.
