24-V Low-Voltage Power Base

nApplications

4.1Single SSR with Built-in Transformer

This document describes the connections when the PB130-024T power base is used on any TH13x series thermostat. This low-voltage power base can be connected to a line-voltage load using a relay or directly to a 24-volt device. The PB130-024T is compatible with most relays; however, the following Aube relays are optimized for use with this power base:

RT850 solid-state relay (SSR)

RT850T solid-state relay (SSR) with built-in 24-V transformer

RC840 electromechanical relay

RC840T electromechanical relay with built-in 24-V transformer

TH133, TH131 specifications

Aube Technologies, a recognized pioneer in heating and temperature management solutions, has brought forth advanced models, namely the TH133 and TH131, aimed at residential heating applications. These thermostats are designed to enhance energy efficiency, comfort, and ease of use, catering to the modern homeowner's needs.

The TH133 model is characterized by its digital interface that allows users to program their heating schedule easily. It features a large backlit display, making it simple to read temperature settings, even in low-light conditions. One of the main highlights of the TH133 is its adaptive learning feature, which learns the homeowner's habits over time. This feature enables the thermostat to adjust heating patterns based on when the home is occupied, effectively optimizing energy consumption while maintaining comfort.

Another key technology integrated into the TH133 is its dual voltage compatibility, allowing it to be used with a variety of heating systems, including electric baseboards and convectors. The unit is equipped with an energy-saving mode that can be engaged during periods of absence, further reducing energy costs without sacrificing living comfort. With the TH133, users also benefit from customizable heating schedules, allowing them to set different temperatures for weekdays and weekends.

Turning to the TH131, this model also boasts a user-friendly interface, but it is slightly more basic compared to its counterpart. It features a simple digital display and manual programming options that cater to homeowners who prefer straightforward operation over advanced features. The TH131 is equally capable of managing various heating systems, thanks to its versatile voltage options, which range from 120 to 240 volts.

Both models are designed with easy installation in mind, featuring a standard size that fits most electrical boxes. Their sleek and modern designs ensure that they integrate seamlessly into any home décor, making them both functional and visually appealing.

Overall, Aube Technologies’ TH133 and TH131 thermostats offer a range of features that enhance user experience while promoting energy efficiency. With advanced technologies suited to different user preferences, these thermostats represent a significant advancement in home heating management.
