CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the hook race

WARNING:

Turn the power switch off and unplug the machine before cleaning.

NOTE:

Do not dismantle the machine in any way other than what is explained in this section.

Clean the outside of the machine with a soft cloth and mild soap.

zRemove the setscrews with the screwdriver supplied with the machine. Remove the needle plate and presser foot.

cClean the bobbin holder with the lint brush u. u Lint brush

vClean the hook race with the lint brush. i Hook race

bClean the hook race with a dry cloth. (You may also use a vacuum cleaner.)

Assembing the hook race

zInsert the bobbin holder so that the knob fits next to the stopper in the hook race.

x Reattach the presser foot and needle plate.

Align the needle plate guide pins with the guide

holes on the needle plate and tighten the screw.
