OVEREDGE STITCH

This is the same type stitch used by the garment industry in making sportswear - it forms and finishes the seam in one operation.

It’s very effective for use in repairing raw or worn edges of older garments.

Este es el mismo tipo de puntada usada por la industria de la confección en la fabricación de prendas. Se forma y acaba la costura en una operación.

Es muy efectiva para el uso en la reparación de bordes gastados de prendas usadas.

POINT SURJET

Point extensible spécial pour assembler et surfiler en une seule opération. Il est utilisé dans l’industrie de la confection, surtout pour les vêtements de sport, comme les costumes de bain. Il peut cependant aussi s’utiliser sur des tissus non- extensibles.

HONEYCOMB STITCH

1.Make a straight line of gathers across the fabric that you wish to smock.

2.With a narrow strip of fabric directly under the line of gathering, stitch over the gathers. The design will be a series of small diamonds.

DOUBLE OVEREDGE STITCH

Use this stitch in preference to regular overlock stitch for overcasting stretch or knit fabrics where strength and flexibility are required.

PUNTADA PANAL

1.Realiza una línea recta de fruncidos a través del tejido que se desea adornar con nido de abeja.

2.Con una tira estrecha de tejido, directamente debajo de la línea de fruncido, coser sobre los fruncidos. El diseño será una serie de diamantes pequeños.

BORDE DOBLE

Utlice preferentemente esta puntada antes que el overlock normal para operaciones en géneros elásticos o de punto, donde se require fuerza y flexibiidad.

POINT NID D’ABEILLE

1.Piquez au point droit, des lignes de fronces séparées de ± 8 mm. Tirez sur le fil inférieur et froncez le tissu jusqu’à obtenir la longueur désirée. En cas de besoin, vous pouvez placer un biais à l’envers des lignes de fronces.

2.Piquez le nid d’abeille entre les lignes de fronces. Quand vous avez terminé, retirez les fils de points droits.

POINT SURJET

DOUBLE

Utilisez ce point de préférence pour surfiler les tissus extensibles ou tricotés, où la résistance et la souplesse sont impératives.
