After 5 seconds the time appears on the LED display and the red clock symbol switches off. The Kitchen Timer continues to count further. 5 seconds before expiration of the time period, the Kitchen Timer and the red clock

symbol appear again.

You can check the progress of the Kitchen Timer at any time by simply pressing the button w „Clock/Kitchen Timer“.

As soon as the programmed time has expired, an acoustic signal sounds two times..

Operation

Safety Door Closure U

Press the door opener Y to open the door. If the door is opened during opera- tion, the cooking process is interrupted, the program or function, however, remain. The cooking process is continued when the door has been closed and the button "Start/Quickstart" r has been pressed.

Turnable grill plate Q

Place the turnable grill plate Q so that the post in the middle of the microwave oven inserts itself exactly into the depression on the underside of the tur- nable grill plate Q. Always leave the tur- nable grill plate Q in the appliance during use. The motion of the turnable grill plate Q ensures an even distribu- tion of energy and microwaves.

When a microwave process (cooking, grilling, thawing) is complete, five acoustic signals are sounded and "End" and "Hot" appear alternatively in the LED display.

Before the first usage, switch on the grill function "bottom heat" at the highest rating: Press the Grill button t three times. In the display the symbol for "bottom heat" in the

grill function appears . Using the control knob Y set it to 10 Minutes. Press the Start/Quickstart button r.

As the heating element is lightly greased, the creation of odours can occur. This is harmless and stops after a short time. Provide for sufficient ventilation. Open a window.

When you want to use the classical basic functions of microwaving (warming, boiling, cooking), you must merely select the microwave power level and programme the desired cooking time. You can choose between eight power levels, from 800 to 100 watts, with a maximum cooking time of 95 minutes.
